A Lifetime of Service
The son of a steelworker and a schoolteacher, Jack Sullivan served two tours in the U.S. Army before coming home to rebuild his hometown. As a small-business owner, mayor, and governor, he balanced budgets, created jobs, and never forgot who he works for: you.

1978
A Steelworker's Son
Born in Youngstown, Ohio, the third of five kids. Jack learned early that honest work and faith hold a family together.
1996
Serving in Uniform
Enlisted in the U.S. Army at 18. Two tours overseas, a Bronze Star, and a lifelong bond with America's veterans.
2004
Building a Business
Founded Sullivan Fabrication with three employees. Grew it to 240 jobs without ever missing a payroll.
2012
Mayor of Youngstown
Balanced the city budget, cut crime by a third, and brought shuttered plants back to life.
2018
Governor of Ohio
Two terms. Record job growth, the largest tax cut in state history, and a top-five ranking for business.
